《王清宪在2020青岛·全球创投风投网络大会上的主旨演讲》摘译

　　全球化是由生产力发展的内生力量推动，为了更高的效率和利益而产生的，是由现代科学技术特别是新一代信息技术所推动的，是经济的本性和规律所决定的，而不是由谁的主观意志或好恶所主导。因此，也没有谁能够主导逆全球化，不管那些人的动机如何，手段如何，在浩荡的潮流面前，一切人为的障碍都会被潮流所摧垮。在变动面前，全球化也许会改变它的模式和模样，也许会遇到暂时的曲折，但绝不会是全球化的终结，我们以为，这也许正是一个全球化的新起点！

　　Globalization is meant for higher efficiency and profits through productivity development. It is powered by modern science and technology, especially next generation IT, and is governed by the nature and rules of economy rather than the will or inclination of any individual. Therefore, nobody can steer deglobalization, regardless of their motives and methods. In the great scheme of things, any manmade barrier will be shattered by the overwhelming trends of the times. In face of changes, globalization may change the way it looks or works, and it may run into speed bumps for the time being. But now is definitely not the end of globalization. Instead, we believe it may be another whole new starting point of globalization.

　　世界的秩序从来都是由共同利益引导的，也因共同利益的调整而重构，自私与偏见绝不可能成为主导世界重构的力量，也不会有谁为了迎合某些人的自私与偏见而以自己的利益做代价。在这个信息、网络已经把世界、工厂、车间、人通过数字空间连接在一起的时代，人们更容易在共同利益的追求中形成合作共识，而不是任由偏见与自私的蛊惑引发对抗。

　　The world order depends on common interests and changes according to the adjustment of the latter. Selfishness and prejudice can never become a main force reshaping the world. And no one will accommodate certain people’s selfish and biased actions at the cost of their own interests. In an era when the world and its factories, workshops, and people are connected in the cyberspace through information and networks, people may find themselves more willing to agree on cooperation as they engage in the pursuit of common interests, and less susceptible to confrontation caused by prejudice and selfishness.

　　疫情发生以来，习近平总书记多次强调，要“加快5G网络、大数据中心等新型基础设施建设进度”“把实体经济特别是制造业做实做强做优，推进5G、物联网、人工智能、工业互联网等新型基建投资”。疫情的倒逼之下，互联网加快迈进了新的阶段，这个新阶段就叫工业互联网。错失了信息化，没抓住消费互联网的青岛，今天已经迈出了坚定而坚实的行动的脚步——打造世界工业互联网之都！

　　Since the outbreak of COVID-19, General Secretary Xi Jinping has stressed on many occasions that “we should accelerate the construction of new-type infrastructure including the 5G network and big data centers”, “we should strengthen the real economy, especially manufacturing, and promote the investment in the new-type infrastructure such as 5G, Internet of Things, AI and Industrial Internet”. Now the pandemic has fast-forwarded the development of the Internet into a new phase featuring the Industrial Internet. Having missed the opportunity to capitalize on IT and the Consumer Internet, Qingdao has taken firm and resolute action to build the City of Industrial Internet of the World. 

　　时代给了青岛机会，可以说天地同力。如果说信息技术制造成就了深圳，消费互联网成就了杭州，我要说，工业互联网成就的必是青岛，当然还有，那就是来青岛投资工业互联网生态链项目的创投风投人。

　　The opportunity presented to Qingdao by this age is happening at the right time and in the right place. I believe the Industrial Internet is sure to make Qingdao the way IT-related manufacturing has made Shenzhen and the Consumer Internet has made Hangzhou, and it will also bring success to the venture capitalists investing the Industrial Internet ecosystem of Qingdao.
