德国领事馆旧址
Site of German Consulate
位于青岛市市南区青岛路1号,建于1913年,初为私宅,占地面积1408平方米,建筑面积1165平方米。1926年,德国政府在此设立驻青领事馆。南面入口用粗犷的蘑菇石砌半圆券。大楼中部拐角取以圆型,上方八边形尖顶塔楼,相邻两侧山花式山墙呈不对称状。1947年,孔子后人购买此宅称“南园”,1986年捐赠给青岛市政府。现为南园孔子纪念馆。一楼客厅被辟为展室,陈列孔子画像和相关的着作与文献。2006年,作为青岛德国建筑群之一,被列为全国重点文物保护单位。
Located at No.1, Qingdao Road, Shinan District, Qingdao, the building was built in 1913 originally as a private residence and covers a land area of 1,408 m2, with a floorage of 1,165 m2. In 1926 German Government set German Consulate in Qingdao here. The southern entrance to the building is the semicircular arch laid with rough demoiselle. Corners in the middle of building are round and the upper part of that is an octagon steeple, with both adjacent sides of pediment walls in asymmetry. The descendants of Confucius bought this residence and named “South Garden” in 1947 and donated it to Qingdao Municipal Government in 1986. Currently, it serves as South Garden Confucius Memorial. Its lounge at the ground floor is opened up as the exhibition room to display the portrait and associated works and literatures of Confucius. The Site was listed into key national protected units of cultural relics in 2006 as one of the German architectural complexes in Qingdao.
